The Preferred Dental Plan can be used 2-3 business days after you apply.  There are no  limits on how often you use the plan and there are no administrative forms to file when using this plan. This type of dental plan also costs much less than an insured dental plan.  If you estimate your annual cost for dental services (including the amount paid to own the plan), you will almost always save more money using a discount plan vs. an insured plan.  The only true benefit of purchasing an insured plan is if your dentist does not accept a reduced fee for service / discount dental plan.
