According to the American Dental Association, approximately 50% of the American public does not have any form of dental insurance. These individuals rely on their own personal income to pay for needed dental care.

The Careington dental program is designed to lessen the burden to non-insured individuals for the cost of dental care by making dental care more affordable. Careington members and their household members can save on all dental care expenses through the one of the largest networks of dental care providers nationwide.

For individuals with dental insurance, our dental program can lessen the out-of-pocket cost. Many dental insurance plans pay less than 100% of the cost of care, and the Careington preferred pricing schedule reduces the member's cost.

The Careington dental program will provide cost savings not only on routine and preventive care, but on more extensive treatment such as fillings, crowns, root canals, dentures, bridges, oral surgery, and orthodontics. With Careington International members can expect to save 20 - 60% on dental care expenses. Members will also save 20% on specialty services. Actual costs will vary per region.

The discounts on the dental program vary by geographic region. Each participating dentist agrees to charge our Careington Plan members according to the fee schedule for that geographic area. The fee schedule is a part of the participating dentist's contract.

This plan does not meet the minimum creditable coverage requirements under M.G.L. c. 111M and 956 CMR 5.00. The plan provides discounts at certain health care providers for medical services. The range of discounts will vary depending on the type of provider and service. The plan does not make payments directly to the providers of medical services. Plan members are obligated to pay for all health care services but will receive a discount from those health care providers who have contracted with the discount medical plan organization. You may access a list of participating health care providers at this website. Upon request the plan will make available a written list of participating health care providers. You have the right to cancel within the first 30 days after receipt of membership materials and receive a full refund, less a nominal processing fee (nominal fee for MD residents is $5).
